Foods that Cause Acne - What to Eat TO GET ACNE!

Myth: Foods do not cause acne.

FACT: Foods DO CAUSE ACNE!

All the doctors whom I visited when I was looking for some dependable and professional help to get rid of acne told me that there's no link whatsoever between acne and foods.

The statement saying FOODS DO NOT CAUSE ACNE gave me a lot of relief really. This is because I had a sugary mouth that wanted to eat anything with sugar in it. As I came to find out, sugar can actually cause a lot of problems in your skin.

I have also read a couple of books written by top dermatologists in the United States saying that there is no relationship between foods and acne, while my personal experiences proved otherwise!

It was no coincidence that when I ate some KFC or McDonald's for dinner, acne would pop up the next day.

My dear friend, you are what you eat. That's the truth. If you eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, yogurt, and lean meat, you will get a clear, acne-free skin. This is just the way things work for us. On the other hand, if you eat a lot of junk food and oily foods, then you get pimples as well as other more ugly health disorders and diseases!

Anything that is too oily or sugary should be avoided. There is actually a good reason for this. Did you know that sugars and fats can actually directly cause your body to produce more and more acne-causing hormones? Yes! These substances can actually cause acne for this reason.

High fat intake directly causes the body to produce more testosterone. On the other hand, sugary foods when consumed, stimulate your body to produce insulin. And the byproduct of this production of insulin is actually testosterone - the hormone that is responsible for "commanding" how much facial oil your sebaceous glands underneath your skin need to produce and release.

When you eat a lot of sugary foods or fatty foods, high production of hormone testosterone occurs and your sebaceous glands produce excessive amount of facial oil. This facial oil will clog your pores easily with the help of dead skin cells and other dirt on the surface of your skin. When the pores get clogged and blocked, the usually harmless bacteria (p.acne) feasts on the sebum or oily mixture and your body's immune system goes to work and bomb the "infected" area - and poofs that's how acne happens!

"Eat your donuts and fried chickens and burgers, they don't cause any harm to your skin and body. That's what the doctors say."

Really? I believe the doctors say that because they were taught so when they were studying during college. If you have the chance, why not ask your dermatologist what causes acne. Chances are they don't have a clue as to what causes this nasty skin disorder. Again, they are not the ones that should be blamed. They simply didn't have sufficient facts and statistics to prove how acne happens.

In my personal opinion, if you wish to get rid of acne, you will want to eat a diet that is low in both sugars and fats. Such a diet will reduce inflammation, promote healing, improve immune system, prevent hormonal imbalance and as a result cure acne for good.

So all in all, the foods that cause acne are the foods that are filled with sugars and fats like donuts, fried chicken wings, burgers, junk foods and starchy foods!

Get rid of them from your diet if you truly, truly wish to get a clear acne-free skin. What's more, getting rid of or reducing these foods means that your health in general will improve greatly too!
